Xiaofei Zhao is a Professor of Finance at Georgetown University. His primary research interests are in the areas of asset pricing and information economics. His research papers have been published in the American Economic Review, Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, among others. He has been on the finance faculty at Georgetown since 2018 and previously served on the faculty at UT Dallas from 2013 to 2018. He received a PhD in Finance from the University of Toronto in 2013; a Master of Quantitative Finance and a Master of Mathematics in Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo in 2007; and a BSc in Applied Mathematics from Peking University in 2004.
